Tamara Brown
Partner, Oberon Capital Corporation
Tamara is a mining industry professional with over 30 years of experience in the mining, capital markets and M&A sectors with 10 years of public and private board and committee experience. She is currently a partner of Oberon Capital Corp., a leading charity flow-through provider, and was recently the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Superior Gold Inc., a gold producer.
Tamara is currently an independent director of Orla Mining Ltd. (TSX), Lithium Royalty Corp. (TSX), and 29Metals Ltd. (ASX). Her previous execturive roles include Vice Preident, Investor Relations and Corporate Development (Americas) for Newcrest Mining Ltd., a gold mining company; Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations for Primero Mining Corp., a gold and silver producer, and Director of Investor Relations for IAMGOLD Corp.
Tamara began her career as a professional engineer in the mining industry and was formerly a partner of a boutique investment banking firm. Tamara holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Curtin University in Australia and has completed the Chartered Business Valuator Course at York University.
